Therefore, the director of the institution, María de Lourdes Villanueva, commented that there are approximately 80 young people who participate in the different disciplines that are currently available.
He highlighted that the comprehensive training of young people is extremely important, so strengthening the areas provides them with reinforcement of their soft skills.
“Everything involved in sport is attitude, leadership, teamwork, commitment, responsibility, all of which are competencies that the student develops when practicing a sport,” he said.
He highlighted that the institution is convinced that these disciplines and activities form a complete profile of the student.
The interviewee pointed out that this is because they not only receive academic training in the classrooms, but can also participate in complementary activities such as sports and culture.
“We have been implementing Judo intermittently, we want to do it permanently so that it is one of the disciplines that are constantly offered and thus strengthen it. We also have beach volleyball which is not very common but in our institution we have talent for it,” he explained.
