The first youth archery rookie competition for the years 2011-2016 took place yesterday at the Arco Sport Roma. The young athletes from Tarquinia, prepared and followed in the competition by coach Anastasia Anastasio, competed for the first summer stage of the Pinocchio Trophy.
Four archers from Tarquinia were protagonists among the 42 participants in total: Giulia Micozzi and Diana Capitani, 7th and 8th place respectively in the 2013 – 2015 girls Olympic bow category, 10th place for Sabrina De Berardinis in the 2011 girls Olympic bow category and finally medal bronze for Dario Capitani, in the boys’ compound bow division 2011-2012. The best thing, beyond the results obtained, was seeing how much the kids had fun in this outdoor experience despite the heat that put them to the test: the kids will return to the competition on April 28th in Rome.
