Taboada will go against the capital government for contaminated water in the BJ – El Sol de México

Santiago Taboada, candidate for the head of local government for the “Va X La CDMX” coalition, will take legal action against the city government for contaminated water in the Benito Juárez mayor’s office.

Through a statement on his “X” account, Taboada announced that a particular study of the water in the demarcation had already been requested from UNAM.

“I am very sorry for the clumsiness with which the government of Martí Batres has behaved in resolving this situation. They bet on hiding information and take refuge in their negligence and inability in the face of what could be a public health emergency. “I am waiting for the results of independent studies that Mayor Benito Juárez has requested from UNAM, to determine with certainty the origin of the problem,” said Taboada.

Taboada assured that on Thursday he will issue a statement explaining the legal actions he will take against the capital government, because a week has passed and they continue without explaining what is contaminating the water.

“From my candidacy for the head of government, we are going to take legal action that we will announce on Thursday so that those responsible for the city government take charge of the effects of the neighbors. It took a week for the government to move from water suitable for consumption to contaminated water, we are not going to allow that and that is why we are going to demand punishments and those responsible,” said Taboada.
