Success Stories from the Puygouzon Judo Club: New Black Belts and Championship Performances

The Puygouzon Judo Club was created in 1986, on the initiative of Pascal Jeanson, and since then it has produced black belts. By earning points in competition and a lot of courage, Lalie Sourd becomes the 128th black belt trained at the club, as well as Jade Zaleski the 129th. Congratulations to these two judokas who change their status with this very strong symbol of the black belt. The black belt can be obtained either in dominant competition or in technique. To validate your black belt rank, you must obtain 4 UVs (value units).

At the French adapted parajudo championship, which took place in Montauban, Claudine Imbart Latour, a member of the club, placed third, a great performance. Marie Anselle came out of this competition unranked, but it was only a postponement. The girls are motivated to achieve great results. Pierre Edouard Anselle, for his part, missed out on qualifying, but his determination is inexhaustible. To qualify, the girls went to defend the club’s colors in Fleurance, as well as in Réalmont. The club congratulates Philippe Cassagnaud for his support of our parajudo athletes. The teachers are proud of the results obtained by the students, they have demonstrated their determination and their mastery of the martial art. The club’s traditional judo tournament will take place on May 1st, at the gymnasium. And before the end of the season, trial sessions are free for judo, jujitsu, senior taiso and adapted sport.
