Results Amazons tournament
JC Gernsdorf was the only club from Siegerland to travel to the Amazon tournament in Holzwickede.
Here are our results:
U11 Here Mia Dietermann took first place with 3 early victories. Anni Schlemper and Johanna Grund were also able to enter the winners’ lists and each came third in their weight class. We will have a lot of fun with the young ladies if they continue training like this.
U13: All four Gernsdorf girls unfortunately found themselves in the same weight class. Eva Meiswinkel won her pool and Jule Krämer came second in her pool. In the fight for a place in the final, Jule prevailed. The final battle was then lost. So Jule came in second place and Eva came third. Lilli Wischer and Mara Gerhus also showed courageous performances in the preliminary round but were unable to qualify for the semi-finals despite victory or unfortunate defeat after the judges’ decision without a rating.
U18: Marie Ax and Tamina Jost were among the youngest here. In her first fight, Tamina had to fight against an opponent who was two years older than her and lost. Unfortunately, the second encounter was also narrowly lost even though Tamima was standing well and stable. In recent years, Marie has often pulled the chestnuts out of the fire for the JCG. Today she had a pitch black day and was eliminated. Wipe your mouth and continue training.
Thank you to the parents with the transport service. Congratulations on the 18th to our youth director Ben and many thanks to the Turian family for food and drink during the surprise visit after the tournament.
