The Sienese club, which boasts three teams – senior, under 15 and under 12 -, punta to win the Serie C championship with the first team, thanks to a project that has grown greatly in recent years, thanks also to the collaboration of the main sponsor Estra. “Unfortunately the territory of the Province of Siena does not have a facility that can host it a category higher than Serie C – says the president of Siena Baseball Francesco Giusti -. The Castellina Scalo pitch, where we can only play with the under-12s, has some limitations in its implementation which does not allow us to best express the potential of a senior Serie C team. This year we opted to go and play in San Casciano val di Pesain the hope that the work we are doing together with the municipal administration to try to find a solution for the construction of a sports facility”.
