By integrating U20 weeks each, the Seniors 2 are preparing for the future. This weekend, no less than 6 boys brought their youth to the match at Breuil against Sancé. The visitors were only able to make the trip with 6 young people and the game seemed unbalanced in Brogeliens’ direction. And the terrain did not disprove this impression. Indeed, the Blacks and Pinks left little chance for the Yellows to develop their game. By rotating regularly, imposing a quick game and rotating the ball to find openings in the opposing zone, the players coached by Slo recited their basketball and managed to score more than 100 points. Seniors M-CURGY BASKET – 2 : 100-64
The defeat at Curgy last December left a bitter taste among our Seniors. After having validated the maintenance in RM3 for next season, they wanted to reverse the result of the first leg and be able to “dream” of a place on the podium. The start of the match was balanced and neither team managed to really score: 14-11 after 10 minutes. And there, the Blacks and Roses increased their pressure in defense and were able to recover balls to score easy baskets. The boys then recite their ranges in attack with a ball that circulates quickly to “blow up” the Curgean zone: in a single QT, the Brogelians score 38 points while they only concede 13 points. The break was over. The return from the locker room continues at a good offensive pace to maintain their hard-won lead. The money-time opens with the score 73 to 42 and the boys and the public start to think of a result similar to that of SM2: scoring 100 points or more in a match. This doesn’t happen often in a rather balanced RM3 group (4 times out of 80 matches after 16 days this season). The challenge seemed possible until the last minute of the match but the 5 points missing with 20 seconds to go seemed difficult to fill. That was without counting on a basket from Yan and a ball recovered by Dodu who, intelligently, came out of the arc and hit a winning shot.

Seniors F-CLUB BASKET BUXYNOIS : 32-48
In the Truchot Cup, the SF hosted their counterparts from Buxy, a team which contains in its ranks 2 former Brogelians: Manu and Fino. The match is balanced during the first 3 quarters with the 2 teams which have a lot of waste on shots. The money-time is to the advantage of the visitors with a 3-point address found by the neo-Buxynoise, Manu. Defeat: 32-48.
