Schwaz lost first place in the Handball League Austria (HLA) after the regular round. The Tyroleans, who were at the top before the weekend, lost clearly 31:39 (13:20) at the end of the last round to the sixth-placed Fivers Margareten on Saturday. As a result, Hard remained in first place after his 31:31 on Friday against third-placed BT Füchse thanks to his better performance in the direct duels with the Schwazers, who had the same points.
The pairings for the quarter-finals will be determined by “pick” at the beginning of next week. Hard has the first choice from the teams in fifth to eighth place. The first play-off round will be played in “best of three” mode from April 26th.
