Independiente Santa Fe and Atlético Nacional did not go beyond a tie this Saturday in a duel on date 16 of the Betplay League. The tie leaves the cardinal close to qualifying, but it is not yet assured while the purslanes remain with a chance of being in the home runs.
In the first half, Nacional had the first chance of the game with Emilio Aristizábal who received a great filtered pass and in the area he hit a right foot that was saved by Andrés Mosquera Marmolejo. Towards the 11th, Hugo Rodallega gave it to Jersson González and there the winger suffered a foul where the judge gave a penalty. However, the VAR corrected the decision and nothing was charged.
In the 20th minute, Rodallega almost scored a spectacular goal. The forward received a cross from the right and there he took a bicycle kick that barely went over the purslane goal.

In the half hour of the game, the cardinals had another chance to score with Juan Pablo Zuluaga who received a cross from Elvis Perlaza and the player took a shot that barely passed one side of the goal guarded by Harlen Castillo.
In the second half, Santa Fe again came close with danger with Felipe Millán who, after a corner kick from Perlaza, headed a ball that barely went past one side. Three minutes after this action came the controversy of the game. Daniel Torres had scored the local team’s first goal, but the VAR annulled the goal due to alleged interference by Zuluaga in the play.
At 63′, Francisco Chaverra had another clear chance for Santa Fe in a play in which the winger reached the area and finished there, but the ball was held by Castillo in his legs.
In the 82nd minute, Santa Fe again had the chance to score with Rodallega who received a cross from the right and took an accurate header that barely passed one side of the rival goal.
With this tie, León was close to the classification since it reached 28 points and is in third place in the table while the greens were left with 20 points in tenth place.
