In the final of the Swiss championship there could be an Austrian duel between youngster Vinzenz Rohrer (19) and veteran Michael Raffl (35). Rohrer from Vorarlberg is already in the final of the National League with his club ZSC Lions. The club from Zurich won 2-0 at EV Zug on Monday and won the “best of seven” semi-final series 4-0.
The Carinthian Raffl is only missing a win with HC Lausanne. Raffl scored the opening goal on Monday against Fribourg-Gotteron to make it 1-0 (39th), Lausanne won the home game 3-1 and is ahead in the series with 3-1 wins. Lausanne can therefore secure promotion on Wednesday. After ten play-off games, Raffl has four goals and three assists and is one of his club’s top scorers.
