Two people, a 23-year-old young man resident in Penne (Pescara) and a 33-year-old woman, lost their lives during the night in a road accident inside the tunnel of the Ss 714 in the municipal area of Montesilvano (Pescara). According to an initial reconstruction of the incident, the car suddenly skidded and ended up against the concrete wall. The firefighters, the traffic police officers and the 118 doctors intervened at the scene of the accident and were only able to confirm the death of the two young people whose bodies were found among the crumpled sheets of the car. To allow the rescuers to work, the stretch affected by the accident remained closed to traffic.
