Reynaldo López continues to shine on the mound with the Braves and obtains his second win of the season

HOUSTON (AP) — Dominican Reynaldo López struck out seven during six scoreless innings, Venezuelan Orlando Arcia hit a home run and the Atlanta Braves won their third consecutive game, beating the Houston Astros 6-2 on Tuesday.

López (2-0) allowed four hits and walked one during his third straight good start this start of the season. He has allowed one run in 18 innings for a 0.50 ERA.

Arcia hit a solo home run to left field in the second inning and a sacrifice fly in the seventh.

Venezuelan Luis Guillorme and Chadwick Tromp each contributed two-run doubles in the ninth inning, to put the Braves up 6-0.

The loser was Hunter Brown (0-3), allowing two runs and five hits, in a task that included three strikeouts and three walks over six innings.

For the Braves, Venezuelan Ronald Acuña Jr. is 4-1, Arcia is 3-2 with two runs scored and two RBIs, Guillorme is 4-1 with one run scored and two RBIs. Dominican Marcell Ozuna is 3-1 with one noted.

For the Astros, Venezuelan José Altuve 0-4. Cuban Yordan Álvarez 4-0. The Dominicans Yannier Díaz 4-1, Jeremy Peña 4-2 with one scored. Honduran Mauricio Dubón went 1-1 with an RBI. Puerto Rican Víctor Caratini 1-0.
