In the first inning, the second baseman stretched his arms and curled Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Bobby Miller’s throw to the other side of the fence. He did it again in the fifth inning by hitting his second home run of the game and his third long ball of the season.

Édouard Julien does it again with his second home run of the game –

His two home runs, hit to the opposite field, crossed more than 365 feet. His second shot was against a left-handed pitcher, Alex Vesia, which proved to be the Quebec slugger’s kryptonite last season.

By hitting three hits in four appearances in this game, Julien increased his batting average to .188. It was the first time he hit two home runs in one game and hit the long ball against a left-hander.

The Twins have only recorded four victories in 10 outings since the start of the regular schedule. Byron Buxton produced the other run against the Dodgers with a single in the third inning. It was also Julien who crossed the plate at that moment.

For the visitors, Shohei Ohtani had to settle for a single and a walk in three appearances.

The Minnesota team will begin a four-game series against the Detroit Tigers on Thursday.
