SLEMAN – PSS Sleman has officially received a letter from the BRI Liga 1 2023/2024 competition operator. Namely, PT Liga Indonesia Baru (LIB) regarding the sustainability of the competition.
In letter number 468/LIB-COR/IV/2024, PT LIB will continue the 31st week of BRI Liga 1 2023/2024 on April 15 2024 against Arema FC.
Responding to this, President Director of PT Putra Sleman Sembada (PT PSS) Gusti Randa commented that the date taken by PT LIB coincided with the Eid al-Fitr homecoming flow.
This will make it difficult for supporters to attend.

“This will make it difficult for supporters who will attend because accommodation will be difficult and the roads will be busy. However, we will ensure that the match against Arema will be attended by spectators,” he said Friday (5/4).
Gusti Randa revealed that the PSS Sleman players are currently continuing to train despite the Eid al-Fitr break.
Because the Laskar Sembada team will maximize the available time. This is of course so that you can get important points when facing Arema FC in the future.
“Therefore, we will look forward to supporting supporters again so that the players will get more energy to win over Arema,” he stressed.

Gusti Randa, who also attended the club owner meeting on Wednesday (3/4) and Thursday (4/4), expressed his opinion regarding the sudden postponement of the league.
His party really welcomed the decision to accelerate the league’s rolling.
“Of course we really welcome the acceleration of League 1 rolling. So we can immediately welcome back the important match in the 31st week,” he said.
Gusti Randa explained that he had taken many considerations regarding the league starting again on (15/4).
