PSG women’s: the club formalizes the departure of Ramona Bachmann to the United States

It’s the end of the Parisian adventure for Ramona Bachmann. The Swiss striker, who arrived during the 2020 summer transfer window, leaves Paris Saint-Germain to join the Houston Dash, a club which plays in the North American championship.

As we indicated on March 14, her departure for the United States was anticipated, while Bachmann no longer appeared among the starters within the women’s section of PSG, although she had extended last year until in June 2025.

The news was made official by the capital club this Wednesday in a press release, which specifies that the player’s departure is taking place as part of a definitive transfer. “It was very special to be able to play for this club, to have such good fans cheering and supporting us, and I wish the club all the best for the future,” Bachmann said in an interview broadcast by the PSG.

The number 10 wore the Rouge et Bleu jersey 103 times and scored 21 goals. With PSG, she was crowned champion of France in 2020-2021 and won the Coupe de France in 2022.

“Paris Saint-Germain thanks Ramona for her five seasons at the club and wishes her every success under her new colors,” the press release concludes. After three days, the Houston Dash today occupy fifth place in the United States women’s soccer championship.
