PSG Féminin: Élisa de Almeida and Lieke Martens back against Lyon?

After the exploit of the Kylian Mbappé gang in Catalonia, PSG hopes to keep their smiles in the Women’s Champions League. The Parisiennes travel to Lyon this Saturday (7 p.m.) for the semi-final first leg in a sororicidal confrontation with the hope of reaching a third European final after 2015 and 2017. And among the good news, the women’s section could count on the returns of Elisa de Almeida and Lieke Martens for this first leg.

Affected since the beginning of April in the hamstrings, the French defender and the Dutch attacker took part in training this Thursday, the penultimate before the trip to the Rhône. They will test themselves again on Friday morning at the PSG Campus. Parisian coach Jocelyn Prêcheur has already recovered midfielder Jackie Groenen on Sunday during the draw conceded at Guingamp (3-3). On the other hand, he will still not be able to count on Australian defender Clare Hunt (fatigue fracture in one foot) and French midfielder Oriane Jean-François (knee rehabilitation).

For OL, Eugénie Le Sommer (knee) is out. Sonia Bompastor’s team hopes to recover its offensive assets Delphine Cascarino and Ada Hegerberg, officially uncertain but expected in the group. The Rhone club announced this Thursday that it had already brought together more than 35,000 spectators for this semi-final first leg. Enough to beat the record ever achieved at Groupama Stadium for a meeting between clubs. The return leg will take place on April 28 (4 p.m.) at the Parc des Princes.
