PSG: A €20M transfer is complete, that’s why

Last winter, PSG decided to loan Hugo Ekitike with an option to buy from Eintracht Frankfurt. And the 21-year-old striker is expected to stay in Germany. In fact, the leaders of the Hessian club will trigger the Frenchman’s purchase option, valued at €20 million. Sports director of Frankfurt, Markus Krösche is already jubilant about this transfer.
The PSG could already receive good news in view of the summer transfer window. Last winter, Hugo Ekitike’s ordeal ended at Paris. Left aside for six months due to his desire not to leave the Parisian club last summer, the 21-year-old striker finally joined theGermany by committing to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Last March, Bild revealed that the German club would quickly exercise this option. This Friday, the sports director of l’Unity, Markus Kröschediscussed the reasons for this major decision on the part of the Hessian club.

“Hugo has certain skills that cannot be taught. He is incredibly professional, focused and ambitious. As a person, he is sociable, humble and fits well into the group. These are conditions that are crucial. You do not make transfer decisions based on short-term performance, the first five or six weeks,” the latter explained to the German media.
