PSG and Barcelona Lineup Changes for Champions League Quarter-Final Clash

Paris Saint-Germain must change its face to turn things around against FC Barcelona on Tuesday evening, in the quarter-final second leg of the Champions League (2-3 in the first leg). So Luis Enrique changed his eleven. The Spanish technician has in fact decided to reinstate Bradley Barcola and Warren Zaire-Emery into his starting lineup.

Coming out at the break in the round of 16 return against Real Sociedad, entering at half-time in the quarter-final first leg at the Parc des Princes, where he was back from injury and had the ball in the 3-1, Barcola will occupy very probably the right lane in the three-way attack that he will compose with Ousmane Dembélé and Kylian Mbappé. “WZE” will support the irremovable duo Fabian Ruiz – Vitinha in the midfield, and it is therefore Kang-in Lee and Marco Asensio who find the bench.

Achraf Hakimi returns to the pitch as expected. Suspended less than a week ago, the former Madrilenian resumes his position as a full-back, which allows Marquinhos to switch back to central defense. Lucas Beraldo pays for this return and finds himself on the bench after a difficult performance in the first leg, since it is Lucas Hernandez who will support the Brazilian in the center. Nuno Mendes will once again have to contain Lamine Yamal.

On the Barça side, no surprises but one change: Pedri will start in place of Sergi Roberto, who is suspended.

The PSG composition: Donnarumma – Hakimi, Marquinhos (cap), L.Hernandez, N.Mendes – Zaïre-Emery, Vitinha, F.Ruiz – Barcola, Mbappé, Dembélé

Barcelona’s squad: Ter Stegen (cap) – Kounded, Araujo, Cubarsi, Cancelo – F.De Jong, Gündogan, Pedri – Yamal, Lewandowski, Raphinha
