Godo is preparing for the debut of the 2024 season with a team that is renewed in the technical sector, rejuvenated, full of new enthusiasm. On Saturday 20th April we start, at home, against Athletics Bologna: first match at 3pm, second at 8pm. And with some nice news: the first throw of the ball at the start of the afternoon match, in fact, will be carried out by the President of the Emilia Region -Romagna Stefano Bonaccini. He promised it to Godo about a year ago in an event organized by Radio Imagineria in Forlì during which the boys from Godo talked about the drama of the flood they had suffered a few months earlier and the extraordinary work that allowed them to continue playing the various championships regularly , starting with Serie A.
Bonaccini remembered and kept his promise and committed to being there for some time. They let Godo know that “it will be a great honor for us to host him with our simplicity and spontaneity and we know that he will appreciate all of this”. Also invited were the Mayor of Russi Valentina Palli, the President of the province De Pascale, the President of Fibs Marcon accompanied by the two federal councilors of our region Gigi Mignola and Barbara Zuelli.
Godo is there, the team is in shape, it’s fired up, it will assert itself, as it always has, with the aim, for now, of qualifying for the next phase of the play offs.
