Peruvian Tennis Star Luis Horna Sanctioned for Promoting Betting House

The agency highlighted that, when informed, the 43-year-old Peruvian did not hesitate to cooperate with the investigation. He further expressed “regretted and deleted all promotional material from the betting house“, so the entity did not find signs of “corrupt behavior” in Horna.

Throughout his sporting career, Horna, who played in the third round of the Australian Open in 2006 and at Roland Garros in 2005, he won the doubles in Paris with the Uruguayan Pablo Cuevas in 2008. He won several titles in that modality and was fifteenth in the ranking in 2009.
