Patro Eisden has decided to fire a representative after he cursed at the referee. He also received a suspension of six match days from the Disciplinary Committee.
Dani Cappiello was a representative for the U21 of Patro Eisden. The team played against the promises of KAS Eupen on April 5 and then things went wrong.
The Patro U21 coach received his second yellow card, after which Cappiello started calling the referee a “stupid amateur” and a “fat bastard”, according to Het Nieuwsblad.
He stood nose to nose and then logically received a red card. After the final whistle, he did not allow the referee into the room where the laptop was located to enter the score, “because he had been excluded”.
Patro has apologized to the ref in question and has also taken further steps himself. According to the newspaper, he was suspended internally “as his behavior could not be tolerated in any way.”
