A first gathering of volunteers before the 2024 Olympic Games #
Nearly 1,200 volunteers from the City of Paris gathered at the Arena Porte de la Chapelle. This first day of meeting and cohesion took place just over 100 days before the games. These volunteers will have a crucial role during the Games.
Their main missions will be to welcome, inform and guide visitors. Some of them will also be responsible for welcoming journalists to the “Paris Media Centre” located in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris.

The volunteers had the opportunity to meet with stakeholders from the City of Paris on the future site of the badminton, para-badminton, rhythmic gymnastics and para-weightlifting events. The City of Paris plans to mobilize nearly 5,300 volunteers this summer. This work force will complement the 45,000 Paris 2024 volunteers who participated in a day of convention on March 23 at La Défense Arena.
