A notable case of the 90s in the United States and even beyond, the story of Orenthal James Simpson – American football superstar of the 70s – is linked to the NBA. At the end of the second quarter, and while the series was 2-2 and the two teams were playing a very tense Game 5 in terms of what was at stake, the commentary team suddenly announced that they had to go on air. for an NBC News special. Why is this information important? The fleeing driver is apparently OJ Simpson, retired American football superstar. Accused of having murdered his ex-wife as well as her new husband, he was finally arrested and his trial was followed beyond the borders of the United States.
Acquitted in 1995 then sentenced to heavy damages in a second trial in 1997, OJ Simpson will gradually sink, ruined and hated by the people of his neighborhood – Brentwood, in Los Angeles – through a series of affairs with the law. He died yesterday of cancer at the age of 76.
On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer.
He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren.
