Nippon Napoli Triumphs at Italian A1 Junior Championships: Betty Vuk Shines in Dubrovnik

Nippon prophet in his homeland. It was right there Nippon Napoli to win the men’s club ranking at the Italian A1 junior championships held today in PalaVesuvius a Napoli. And if Nippon, albeit on equal points (38) with Akiyama Settimo Torinese, prevailed in the men’s rankings, the Carabinierior rather the Carabiniere won the title in the women’s championships, preceding the always brilliant Judo Virtus.

But a golden ring also came from Dubrovnikwhere Betty Vuk won the 78 kg gold medal in the Senior European Cup.

“I’m really happy with this result – she commented Betty Vuk– I’m back after a really complex period, both mentally and physically, so bringing home my first gold medal on a European circuit from Croatia today is doubly special for me!”

“The race was organized in an impeccable manner – he said instead Maria Centracchio, coach competing for the Fiamme Oro – in a very suggestive location. An excellent event to gain experience, given the great participation from all over Europe. I was very happy to accompany the Fiamme Oro boys in their various matches and in particular to follow Carlotta Avanzato to the bronze final, in a weight category that was new to her, but so dear to me. It was nice to see a very good Italy, especially on the first day: this bodes well for the future.”
