FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – The 2024 College Football opener between NDSU and Colorado has been rescheduled for Thursday, August 29.

Start time and television networks are still being determined, but game details are expected at the end of May when network partners with the Big 12 and other major conferences set their broadcast schedules.

NDSU fans have until 4p.m. Tuesday, April 30, to request tickets for the game on GoBison.com. Tickets will be allocated based on NDSU’s priority points system, and a travel package will be offered through NDSU Team Makers.

NDSU, under the direction of first-year head coach Tim Polasek, is playing Colorado for the first time in program history. The Buffaloes are entering their second year under head coach Deion Sanders.

This will also be NDSU’s first Thursday night game since the 2009 season opener when the Bison lost at Iowa State, 34-17.

After visiting Colorado, the Bison will play their home opener against Tennessee State on Saturday, September 7, at the Fargodome.
