As of March 31, 2024 no team has been mathematically classified for the NBA Play-In 2024.

What is the NBA Play-In: Format and explanation
The NBA Play-In is the tournament that gives access to the American League Playoffs for teams that finish the regular phase between 7th and 10th positions in each conference.
At the end of the aforementioned regular phase, these eight teams (four on each side) face each other in a single match for the last two tickets that give access to the Playoffs.
The format is the following:
- 7º vs. 8º: The winner automatically advances to the Playoffs as 7th and the loser will play one more game
- 9º vs. 10º: The winner faces the loser of 7th-8th and whoever loses is eliminated
- Loser 7th/8th vs. Winner 9th/10th: Whoever wins qualifies for the Playoffs as 8th and whoever loses is eliminated
The matches are always played in the stadium of the team with the best record in the season and the position in the Playoff bracket is defined based on the results of the Play-In.
When is the NBA Play-In 2024: Day and dates of the start of the tournament
The NBA Play-In 2024 is between Tuesday, April 16 and Friday, April 19. Between Tuesday and Wednesday the first four matches of the tournament will be played, which will determine the 7th place in each Conference as well as which two teams will fight to be 8th. On Thursday and Friday the 8th position of each Conference will be defined.
Once the Play-In has concluded, the 2024 NBA Playoffs will begin on Saturday, April 20.
