myFIP opens to all adult Athletes. With the go live from 10 April 2024, the Italian Basketball Federation takes an important step in its digitalisation journey, and above all in the increasingly direct relationship between individual members and the headquarters.
Until now accessible to members of the National Coaches Committee (CNA), Minibasketball Instructors, legal representatives and managers of affiliated companies, the myFIP platform opens its doors to over 60,000 adult male and female athletes. For the first time, therefore, players will have the opportunity to register and interact with the federal information system, thus acquiring the opportunity to directly access all the information on their competitive career.
How does it work
By entering their personal data on the registration page, players belonging to a company affiliated with FIP can create their own user account independently. After user verification by the club, the athlete sees his registration process completed. From that moment he has access to the Archive with the history of his career, starting from the 2014/15 season (matches played, results, playing fields, etc) and can interface directly with the federal information system.
Destined to expand to minor members already by the end of 2024, the new myFIP functionality foresees further evolutions in the coming years, up to the final objective of an entirely digital membership procedure.
