Wednesday April 17, 2024, from 10:00 a.m., a new exceptional release of tickets will be accessible from the official ticketing platform for Paris 2024.
Presented as the final sale of tickets offering all Olympic sports before the opening of the Games – with the exception of surfing – this release will concern a number of sports and disciplines which were until then « sold out ». Above all, due to its scale and the range of prices, the sale of these precious tickets should mark a new impetus in the dynamic of ticketing for the 2024 Games.
Concretely, more than 250,000 tickets will be injected next week, knowing that half of these tickets will be sold at 100 euros or less and that, of this contingent, nearly 20,000 tickets will be accessible at 24 euros, i.e. the floor price for the 2024 edition of the Olympic Games.
Several thousand new tickets will notably be put on sale for the athletics sessions planned at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis (Seine-Saint-Denis), a few weeks after the specific addition dedicated to the king of the Games. summer. As part of the next spring break, the evening of August 5, 2024 – marked by the pole vault final – will for example be accessible from 85 euros. Overall, tickets for athletics will be available at a relatively substantial range of between 24 and 980 euros.
Swimming will not be left out, with 15,000 tickets offered from 24 to 980 euros again for the sessions announced on the Paris La Défense Arena in Nanterre (Hauts-de-Seine) in a temporary setting. Among the services, the 400 meter medley series in which world swimming prodigy Léon Marchand will perform will be presented from 24 euros, while the final of the discipline will be accessible from 85 euros for July 28, 2024.
Another benchmark sport of the Olympic Games, gymnasticsArena Bercy (12th arrondissement) will be allocated 10,000 new tickets ranging from 24 to 690 euros this Wednesday, April 17. The preparatory arrangements for the temporary enclosures will also allow the addition of new tickets for table tennis recently highlighted thanks to the world performances of the Lebrun brothers. For this sport presented at theArena Paris Sud – within the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Center (15th) – 12,000 tickets will be on sale next week at a price range of between 24 and 280 euros.
These same ongoing developments also benefit the equestrian events, the stands of theRoyal Star in the Park of the Château de Versailles (Yvelines) being assembled. On this site with its majestic perspective, 9,000 new tickets will be offered on the official Games ticketing website (24 to 420 euros), notably for the individual show jumping final (from 100 euros) or the medal session dressage (from 85 euros).
Also currently under construction, the Stadium Tour Eiffel (7th) will be one of the attractions of the Games due to its location on the Champ-de-Mars below the iconic «Dame de Fer». Among the other sports ideally positioned by this exceptional release of tickets, football will be there, with the group matches of the French men’s and women’s teams in particular accessible from 30 euros and, more broadly, matches priced from 24 euros. Basketball will see nearly 60,000 new tickets flow onto the official platform for the group matches scheduled in Lille (North), with for example the meetings of the French team or that of the United States presented from 50 euros.
