Around a hundred athletes competed on the slopes of Mondolè Ski at the start, tackling the 23 km with 2000 meters of altitude difference and 7 climbs of the race route which ideally embraced the entire Mondolè ski area, from Artesina to Prato Nevoso and return.The evening ended with the awards ceremony at the Gala Palace in Frabosa Sottana.
The 20th edition speaks transalpine and sees the duo Germain Grangier (already third overall at the iconic UTMB trail race in Chamonix in 2023) and Valentin Clarys first to cross the finish line in Artesina. The French couple, after eleventh place at the Pierramenta and 14th at the Tour du Rutor, showed up at the start in dazzling form, always leading the race from the first climb, closing the route of 7 climbs for 23 km with 2000 meters of altitude difference with a time of 2 hours and 15 minutes. Followed by the couple Vedovati Gabriele and Ubiali Claudio in second position, with the duo Camaglio Stefano and Bongioanni Elia at the foot of the podium.
In the women’s race, the couple Marika Sette and Chiara Musso were first at the finish line, with a time of 3 hours and 12 minutes.
