Mohamed Nassoh will play for Sparta in the coming years, Rik Elfrink reported on Saturday morning on behalf of the Eindhovens Dagblad. According to the journalist, the 21-year-old captain of Jong PSV wanted to wait for a new offer, but that did not materialize. Sparta, which only has to pay a training fee, has also announced Nassoh’s arrival.
Last week it became clear that the Kasteellords were in the market for Nassoh. Journalist Marco Timmer from Voetbal International wrote the following about this. “However, PSV’s current offer cannot yet appeal to Nassoh and his entourage. The Moroccan youth international is waiting for a better offer from the Eindhoven team, knowing that there is also interest in him from the Eredivisie.”
Elfrink now reports that PSV has not submitted a new proposal to Nassoh. The journalist provides text and explanation via X. “Nassoh received a much better offer in Rotterdam than at PSV and will sign until mid-2028. He can earn much more than he would have received at PSV and has prospects of playing time. He wanted to stay at PSV and then go on loan, but PSV dropped that option.”
The Brabant leader will thank the midfielder for his services and will let him leave on a free transfer. PSV can still collect a training allowance of approximately 130,000 euros for the investments in Nassoh during the fourteen seasons he played in the Eindhoven youth academy.
Nassoh, who is represented by Team Raiola, will soon sign in Rotterdam-West. According to Timmer, the youth international of Morocco Under 23 was also in the picture at AZ. However, Sparta is now coming out on top.
PSV sees the departure of an important force from the promising team in Nassoh. Despite his age, the right foot has not yet played a single match in PSV’s main squad. However, Nassoh does have the dubious honor of calling himself Mister Jong PSV.
Nassoh has already played 102 official matches on behalf of the promising team in the Kitchen Champion Division. The technical midfielder was good for fourteen goals and fourteen assists. On Friday evening he was responsible for two goals and an assist against FC Eindhoven (2-5 win).

Sparta has now confirmed the arrival of Nassoh. Technical director Gerard Nijkamp reacts to his acquisition via the club channels. “Mohamed is a talented player who has established himself in the Kitchen Champion Division and is ready for the step to the Eredivisie. We see him as a player with a lot of potential, who can develop much further and are happy that we can sign him for four years.”
