Minister of Health and Sports delivers sports clothing to Team Bolivia for Bolivarian Youth Games Sucre 2024

The Minister of Health and Sports, Maria Renée Castro, delivered sports clothing to members of Team Bolivia who will represent the country in the I Bolivarian Youth Games Sucre 2024 in ten sports: taekwondo, weightlifting, beach volleyball, swimming, cycling (BMX, MTB and road), badminton, Basque pelota, wrestling, gymnastics and boxing.

In the significant event, the first national sports authority expressed his satisfaction and reiterated the commitment of the national government to work for the benefit of young athletes.

“Today we have a great concentration of the Bolivia team, we have been delivering clothing, also in Cochabamba we have been at the CEFED with the team that we already had concentrated there, but we had pending the delivery of the equipment that is right here, the equipment for that you will be present tomorrow and from now on the following days during the competition,” said the minister.

135 athletes benefited, receiving complete sports clothing, consisting of a jacket, sweatshirt, t-shirt, sweatshirt, shorts, cap and backpack. The delivery represents an investment of Bs. 350,000

For his part, the Bolivian youth swimmer Tiago thanked the authorities for the work done to support the different sports teams.

“I want to thank the Minister of Health and Sports, Maria René Castro, and the Vice Minister of Sports Karen Palenque for their tireless work and dedication in the organization and management of the first Bolivarian Youth Games Sucre 2024, since their commitment to sports Health and well-being in our youth has been fundamental to carry out this sport of great magnitude,” said the athlete.

In this way, the entire Bolivia Team now has the corresponding sports clothing to make a worthy representation in the multi-sport event, since in previous days in Cochabamba, the Minister of Health and Sports delivered clothing to a first group of the national representatives.

The first edition of this sporting event will bring together more than 1,500 competitors and will take place in the capital of Bolivia, with the participation of seven countries: Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Peru and Venezuela.

Sucre 2024 will have 24 sports and 27 disciplines: athletics, badminton, 3×3 basketball, handball, baseball, boxing, cycling (BMX, road and MTB), fencing, futsal, artistic gymnastics, judo, karate, weightlifting, wrestling, swimming , Basque pelota, racquetball, squash, taekwondo, tennis, table tennis, archery, triathlon, beach volleyball and floor volleyball.
