Naturally, when talking about facilities we cannot limit our attention to structures intended for high level, but focus on the importance of adequate spaces in the territories to encourage sports practice at all ages and levels”. The president of Sport and Health, Marco Mezzaroma, said this, responding to the Culture and Sport commission in the Senate.

From the available data, there are approximately 34,000 sports facilities with one or more spaces adapted for football disciplines of different types, equal to 44% of the total national facilities (77,000, ed.), of which 53% in the North, 20 % in the Center and 27% in the South”.
Mezzaroma speaks of a database that will “be enriched” so as to create “a national regulatory plan for sports facilities”. The president of Sport and Health also focused on the “need to develop increasingly sustainable structures”, adding that this is a direction that “the legislator will pay attention to in order to aim for an overall renewal of the legislation on the country’s sports infrastructures”
