Maverick Viñales flies in Texas and Marc Márquez continues to grow

The leader of this exhibition was Maverick Viñales, who already overwhelmed the rest in a Q2 in which he scored a record “pole”, becoming the first driver in history to go below 2:00 on the Circuit of the Americas ( 2:00.864). Only Viñales surpassed him, because Maverick is unreachable and the man from Cervera still has a little left to adapt to riding the Ducati.

Jorge Martín showed Acosta his stripes to get on the podium and give Bagnaia five more points in the championship. The “Shark” was second on the grid and in the Sprint his performance went from more to less, but come on, it was his first time in Texas in MotoGP and he has all the time ahead of him. He seems to be better at long races, so today he might have more things to say.

Bagnaia failed at the start, fell to tenth place and had to take risks to come back and score some points. He finished eighth, so he gained two with a view to the championship.
