Matteo Panariello from Livorno Wins Gold at Archery World Championships in Pilsen

Pilsen (Czech Republic) is colored with amaranth. At the archery world championships, Matteo Panariello from Livorno in the Visually Impaired category took the top step of the podium in the final which took place this morning, Saturday 22 July. He was decisive in the 6-0 victory in the final over the Australian Craig Newbery. Previously the athlete, from the Livornesi Archers Company “Dino Sani”, had defeated the American Jones and the Cyprus archer Misos with the same score. As soon as he returns to his Livorno, Matteo will receive the well-deserved welcome that a world champion deserves.
