Malik Monk’s Future with Sacramento Kings in Jeopardy as Contract Nears End

After being eliminated from the Play-in at the hands of the New Orleans Pelicans, the Sacramento Kings are officially on vacation, and specifically their Best Sixth Man, Malik Monk, who will end his respective contract starting next July.

The guard would like to continue linked to the California franchise where he has left his best flashes as a player; However, the Kings are going to have a really difficult time retaining him, since according to information from FOX40.com, they will only be able to offer him a maximum contract of 4 years and an additional 78 million dollars.

“I think everything will develop in the right way,” Monk said regarding his sporting future, which could forgive money to continue with the Kings.

This coming summer he will become one of the most sought-after free agents on the market given his great qualities as a scorer, and also as a playmaker.

In his two years in the California franchise he has obtained figures of 14.4 points, 4.5 assists and 2.8 rebounds while shooting 36% from three-point range.
