Macalester College Football Players Inducted into NFF Hampshire Honor Society

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Seven members of The Macalester College football team had seven student-athletes inducted into the 2024 National Football Foundation Hampshire Honor Society, the NFF & College Hall of Fame announced today. The NFF Hampshire Honor Society recognizes college football players who have distinguished themselves both academically and athletically.

Macalester’s honorees are Nick Bice (Fort Dodge, Iowa/Fort Dodge), Will Brazgel (Hartland, Wis./Lake Country Lutheran), Logan Pampel (Johnson Creek, Wis./Lakeside Lutheran), Michael Poker (Brookfield, Wis./Brookfield East), Joshua Strickler (Chesapeake, Va./Grassfield), Jordan Vellon (Orlando, Fla./The Masters Academy) and Nathan Wu (Walnut Creek, Calif./Northgate).

Requirements for membership into the NFF Hampshire Honor Society include being a starter or significant contributor in one’s last year of eligibility, achieving a 3.2 cumulative grade point average and meeting all NCAA/NAIA-mandated progress towards degree requirements. A record number of 1,989 players from 339 schools across all three NCAA divisions and the NAIA qualified for membership in the 18th year of the program.
