New York, Apr 1 (EFE).- Luka Doncic, of the Dallas Mavericks, won the award for best player in the West this Monday in week 23 of the NBA.
The Slovenian point guard reached spectacular triple-double averages with 32.5 points, 11 rebounds and 9.5 assists per game for the Mavericks who won their four games last week and are going through a magnificent moment, with seven consecutive wins.
The former Real Madrid player has guided Dallas to fifth place in the West (balance of 45-29) ahead of the New Orleans Pelicans (also sixth with 45-29) who play this Monday against the Phoenix Suns (eighth with 43- 31).
In the East, the award went to Dejounte Murray of the Atlanta Hawks. EFE
