The race for Ligue 1: Auxerre starts strong again, the Greens and the SCO still there
It is now almost a certainty: there are only three left in the running for direct accession to L1. The best placed is obviously the leader from Auxerre who, beaten during the last two days, resumed his march forward and put in the form against Laval (4-0). After less than a quarter of an hour, Christophe Pelissier’s players had already scored twice, by Lomami against his side (4th) and the first goal in two months from Florian Ayé (13th). The attacker then scored a double (33rd) before causing the expulsion of Bobichon (45th+2).
But the hunters did not give up.
