Legnano Continues Unbeaten Streak but Draws Needed for Salvation

LEGNANO – A draw that is needed little or nothing at Legnano which continues its trend without defeats, while picking up points for the now compromised salvation cause.

Against the Varese yet another draw that puts the lilacs back in the midst of a battle for salvation. Now the aim of the next matches will only be to have a better ranking from the point of view of the playout grid.

There will be three matches between now and the end of the championship: the first on Sunday at Villa D’Almè against Villa Valle.

The second Sunday April 28th Verano Brianza against the Casatese and the third in Ciserano against Virtus.

It’s useless to do calculations and look at the other competitors for salvation, but it now seems clear that Legnano will play for their stay in Serie D with the playouts.

Mister Zattar’s comments on the race like this: «We played a great match. We had a great approach and played a first half of great intensity. The biggest regret is that we didn’t close the game in the first 45 minutes of the game when we built 6-7 clear scoring opportunities. At the end of the race I lined up the front-wheel drive team to try in every way to win it but we were not very lucky. From here to the end we have to win as many points as possible and then see what position we will be in.”
