Qendrim Zyba did not fulfill his wish in Warsaw – he did not give the club everything that was best. The Kosovo representative played in only four matches (one in the Europa Conference League and three in the top league). He spent 61 minutes on the pitch. He didn’t score a goal and didn’t have an assist.
According to information from Tomasz Włodarczyk from Meczyki.pl, Zyba will no longer stay in Legia Warszawa. The club will not take advantage of the option to buy the player. In addition to Zyba, the disappointing Portuguese winger Gil Dias is also expected to leave (only one goal and one assist in 27 games).
Zyba has two league titles and one Kosovo Cup on his CV. So far, he has only played in his home country. First in FC Prishtina, and then in FC Ballkani, from where he joined Legia Warszawa on a six-month loan with an option to buy for another two and a half years.
It is still not known whether Legia Warszawa will play in European cups next season. After 29 rounds, they have 47 points, four less than Lech Poznañ, who is third in the table, and as many as eight less than Jagiellonia Białystok, who is leading in the table.
