League Cup: Huracán said goodbye with goals against Atlético Tucumán | Resounding triumph in Parque Patricios

Under the rain, Huracán beat Atlético Tucumán 4-0 this Saturday on the last date of the League Cup, in a match where neither of the two had a chance of fighting for the title, but they needed to add points thinking about the fight for the permanence. Lucas Carrizo (2) and Ignacio Pussetto (2) scored the goals.

The game started in favor of Frank Kudelka’s team from the beginning: after 3 minutes the opening came with a fantastic shot from a free kick by Carrizo, which put it in the upper left corner of Devecchi, making his stretch useless.

Later the Dean lost it at the start and the Globe did not forgive: after a slip by Guillermo Acosta, Mazzantti made Pussetto run, who went against the goal and, from the edge of the area, took a powerful shot at the first stick to stamp the second.

The Tucumán team had the great chance to get into the game when, after a corner, first the crossbar and then two Huracán defenders denied them the discount at a key moment.

He couldn’t convert the visit and minutes later he paid for it: Mazzantti went at full speed towards the area from the right, Devecchi went unusually far away, the Huracán attacker was faster and the goalkeeper took him away. Pussetto changed a penalty for a goal and scored the third.

As if that were not enough, before the break, the Sava team – which was ready for the slap – was saved from the fourth after a great shot from outside the area by Alarcón, but the Dean’s goalkeeper was able to send it to the corner.

Already in the complement, Atlético Tucumán tried to score and Huracán had chances to increase the win, something that happened with Carrizo, who took advantage of the second play of a corner and, with a well-cornered header, made it 4-0 that would be definitive.

In this way, Huracán closed the tournament adding 7 of the last 9 points, to finish separating itself from the bottom of the annual table, while Atlético Tucumán, which had come from three duels without losing and a win in the Argentine Cup, could not prolong its small streak

Specifically, the Parque Patricios team finished the League Cup with 16 points, the result of four wins, four draws and six losses.

For his part, the Dean only won one match out of 14 played, drew seven and lost six. If Independiente Rivadavia beats Vélez this Monday, the Sava team will finish last in Zone A.
