The Municipality of La Plata presented the launch of the 33rd edition of the Buenos Aires Games and indicated that registration is open on the official website for those who want to be part of the most outstanding sporting and cultural event in the province of Buenos Aires.
To share the registration methods, the requirements to be taken into account and the relevant authorizations, a meeting was held in the Children’s Republic, headed by the Secretary of Government, Guillermo “Nano” Cara, in which the Undersecretary also participated. of Sports, Ángel “Pichi” Cerisola, and the General Director of the area, Leandro Tarabini.
In addition, Rocío Martínez, director of Clubs, was present; Diego Pelatti, from the Buenos Aires Sports area; Daniel Quaglia and Verónica Sosa, from the Buenos Aires Education area; among other provincial authorities and teachers from state and private schools.
It should be noted that the competition reached a record of 455 thousand registrations last year and that in 2024 it will have more than 100 disciplines for the categories of Youth, People with Disabilities and Transplants, and Seniors.
Among the activities there will be aquathlon, chess, athletics, badminton, basketball, beach volleyball, futsal, soccer, artistic gymnastics, handball, hockey, swimming, paddle tennis, skate, rugby, softball, tennis, canoeing, judo , skateboarding, among others.
The local stage will be held from May 5 to June 30 and later the regional stage will be held, which will be from July 1 to August 31. Then the new interregional event will take place, from September 1 to 20, and finally the winners will travel to the city of Mar del Plata in October, with a date to be confirmed.
Registration will be open until Saturday, May 4 and will be done through the website https://plenus.juegos.gba.gob.ar.
