The forward of the LA Clippers, Kawhi Leonardwill earn the 12th and final spot on Team USA’s roster for the 2024 Olympics, sources told ESPN Adrian Wojnarowski on Tuesday.

The other 11 players on Team USA’s roster have yet to be officially announced, but sources told ESPN on Monday that it would be comprised of LeBron James (Lakers), Stephen Curry (Warriors), Kevin Durant (Suns), Joel Embiid (76ers). ), Anthony Davis (Lakers), Devin Booker (Suns), Anthony Edwards (Timberwolves), Jayson Tatum (Celtics), Jrue Holiday (Celtics), Bam Adebayo (Heat) y Tyrese Haliburton (Pacers).
Steve Kerr of the Warriors will serve as coach of Team USA.
Leonard is averaging 23.7 points and 6.1 rebounds for the Clippers this season. He missed the final eight games of the regular season with inflammation in his surgically repaired right knee.
The Olympic Games will take place from July 26 to August 11 in Paris. There will be 12 teams competing for the gold medal in basketball.
