Karviná played the match well and led 16:11 at halftime. However, Lovosice managed to erase the loss after the break and took the lead 27:26 ten seconds before the end. However, the guests took a time-out and then Petr Široký equalized after a combination in the last second.
The seven-meter throws came next, in which Karviná was more successful. All five scorers scored for the guests, the only unconverted attempt was provided by the experienced Pavel Horák, who sent the Hunters into the lead shortly before the end of the match. Just like last year, Karviná beat Lovosice 3:1 in the semi-finals.
Karviná will play in the final for the sixth time in a row and, as in all previous cases, will play against Pilsen. The Silesians were only able to beat their West Bohemian opponent in 2018 and 2022.
The final series will start on May 15 in Pilsen.
