The Timberwolves face the Denver Nuggets in a game that could decide first place in the Western Conference on Wednesday, then play at home against the Atlanta Hawks on Friday and the Phoenix Suns on Sunday.

Towns has been cleared for full-contact 5-on-5 basketball activities and is moving toward his return to play, the team announced Tuesday.

Before you get injured, Towns was having a resurgent season, averaging 22.1 points and 8.4 rebounds on 50.6% shooting from the field and 42.3% from 3-point range.

The Wolves are 11-5 since the injury of Towns.
