And Bayern?
The only desired candidate beyond all doubt, Xabi Alonso (42), had canceled three weeks ago because he wanted to stay in Leverkusen as champion. Bayern should be able to get over the fact that Nagelsmann is no longer an option, as there were concerns among the club’s management about bringing him back.

Eberl now has to be measured against this. The pressure is definitely increasing due to the Nagelsmann extension at the DFB. Because so far it is only clear who will NOT be a coach at FC Bayern.
