CIUDAD VICTORIA, Tamaulipas.- Judoka José Alfredo Quintá López, representative of the Autonomous University of Tamaulipas, achieved his pass to the Aguascalientes 2024 National Universiade by standing out in the CONDDE Regional Judo Tournament in San Nicolás de los Garza, Nuevo León.

In the Region 1 competition, where athletes from Coahuila, Nuevo León and Tamaulipas participate, Quintá took first place in the -66 kilogram category by defeating his rival from the Autonomous University of Nuevo León in an exciting fight.

The judoka, who is currently concentrated with the National Team at the High Performance Center in Mexico City, demonstrated his skill and talent on the tatami, ensuring his participation in the National Universiade that will take place from December 17 to 20. May at the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes.
