One black belt judoka, the other on the tatami in Sarajevo, the Herbretais Judo club has the wind in its sails just before organizing the Youth interclub this Sunday, April 21 at the intercommunal dojo.
The Judo Club Les Herbiers (JCH) brought together its members this Friday, April 12 at the intercommunal dojo to honor two of its judokas.
First of all, it is Arwen Bellet, who joins the ranks of black belt Judokas. “This symbolic moment is the result of her work and dedication to judo, and we are honored to celebrate this important milestone with her“, explains those responsible for the association which now has 76 judokas holding the prestigious belt.
Then, the club honored Leia Fabiani who is once again preparing to represent the Herbiers club abroad. it will be at the European Cup which takes place in Croatia in Zagreb from April 25 to 28. “We are proud of her career and the chance she has to defend our colors on the international stage”continues the members of the club.
Christophe Hogard, mayor of Les Herbiers, Angélique Richard, sports assistant, invited by the club, came to greet the two champions, the fruit of the JCH’s training efforts.
There will be future champions this Sunday on the Herbret tatami since the club is organizing the interclub bringing together the youngest, chicks and mini-chicks this Sunday, April 21.
