During the senior Brittany championships which took place on the weekend of April 20 and 21 in Ploërmel, Judo Club 56 achieved the challenge of qualifying eight of its representatives for the next French championships. Aurélien Guillaume (+ 100 kg), Houari Allou (- 100 kg) and Zezva Arabuli (- 73 kg), were finalists in their weight categories, while Julien Le Garrec (- 73 kg), Guénola Youlou (-52 kg ) and Nuptia Youlou (-70 kg) won the bronze medal.
Their club mates, Tristan Esnaut (- 73 kg) and Justine Le Quintrec (- 78 kg) completed the group shooting of the Vannes club by also winning their ticket for the French championship. “These results obtained in a very tough competition are likely to enrich the club’s overall record,” noted Fred Pautler, the technical manager of the Vannes club.
