The referee and commissioner of Monday’s third quarter-final between the basketball players of Ostrava and Opava received a suspension until the end of the season for the mistake and failure to exclude home player Michal Svoboda after the second unsportsmanlike foul. The Czech Association of Basketball Referees informed about it. Thanks to Svobod’s three-pointer, Nová Huť won 77:70 over the defending champion and leads the series 2:1 before today’s continuation.
